I Told You Guys It Was Gonna Be Good!!

If you aren't already, you absolutely have to start stopping by ScrapMatters on Fridays to see the new releases from Jennifer Labre Designs and Plum Dumpling Designs.  I'm a little late posting these here but these are the layouts I created with their latest releases.

From Jenn Labre, a new GORGEOUS kit called "Rebirth."  A little bit of Easter whimsy, some nice religious elements and gorgeous color palette.

And from Plum Dumpling Designs is this super, super fun set of elements called "Spiromania."  Flashbacks, anyone?!  :)  This layout uses a kit from PDD called "Family Fun" and the "Spiromania" elements.  So fun!

Extreme Makeover Challenge!

I'm really starting to dig the daily challenges that they have at ScrapMatters.com.  Every month they have an Extreme Makeover challenge.....basically take an older layout and redo it now that your skills have improved.

Here's what I chose....

The journaling is "off", the pictures are dark and although I like the composition, it has no depth.

Here's the redo.  It uses Jennifer Labre's kit "Olive Juice."

I've Been Busy!

Things have been a little hectic around here the past couple of weeks but I've got some recent layouts to post.

This layout was made with a new kit released by Jennifer Labre today at www.catscrap.com.  The kit is called "Captured" and it has a great color palette and some adorable elements and paper!

This layout was created with a collaborative kit with Jenn Labre and Kate Hadfield called "Monkeying Around."  Sooooooo adorable!!  Perfect kit for all the little monkeys in your life.....

And some good news!!  I have been chosen to be on the creative team for Plum Dumpling Designs (PDD).  I'm so excited!  PDD just released a new kit called "Rabbit Tales" - springy colors and patterns!  What's not to love?  Here's a double page spread I made with it:
